Pastor Marshall was ordained in October of 1957. His educational
qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Divinity, and
Doctor of Ministry. After a decade of pastoral service in Southern
California, he was endorsed by his denomination to serve on active
duty as a military chaplain. After a year of combat service in Viet
Nam, he came off active duty in 1975. Suffering from bouts of
depression, for the last three decades he has endeavored to search
the Scriptures for positive principles he could turn into a life
style of praise. His mission has been to “declare the praises of Him
who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light” (1 Peter
2:9 MV).
